In recent days, there has been talk of strong interest from Galatasaray in Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana, but for now any potential deal does not seem to be taking off. Matteo Moretto, speaking in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, provided an update on the situation:
"Galatasaray contacted Milan about Fofana and were even willing to offer a fee of around 30 million euros for the Rossoneri midfielder. This official offer was never formally submitted because Galatasaray understood that Fofana is not open to leaving Milan at this moment, in the middle of the season. Fofana said no to Galatasaray, but the club informed Milan of its intention to try and made it clear that it would have been willing to go up to 30 million euros, including bonuses, which is a very high figure. As of today, the negotiations are completely at a standstill because the player’s wish is to stay at Milan."
