Speaking on SportMediaset on Italia Uno, Claudio Raimondi reported that everything is now practically in place for Mike Maignan’s contract renewal. The goalkeeper has already given his approval to Milan’s proposal, which would run until 2031 and be worth €7 million per season including bonuses. The only remaining issue concerns agent commissions, and next week is expected to be decisive in that regard, with the Frenchman’s agent already in Milan.
Meanwhile, the executives at Via Aldo Rossi are also working on a forward-looking move in attack. Milan have set their sights on Andrej Kostic, a 2007-born striker from Partizan Belgrade who has a €20 million release clause. Milan’s offer is significantly lower, around €7 million plus bonuses, while the Serbian club are asking for €12 million. The player is pushing for the move, keen to wear the Rossoneri shirt, and would initially be assigned to Milan Futuro, as relayed via Milan News.
