For Milan, it is already time to return to the field just hours after the win at Como: tomorrow night at San Siro, Eusebio Di Francesco’s Lecce will arrive, coming off Wednesday’s defeat against Inter. There is little time to recover the many energies spent on Thursday against Fabregas’ boys, and for this reason, Max Allegri is considering some rotation.

Pulisic returns:
A near-certain return to the starting lineup in attack is Christian Pulisic, who remained on the bench for the entire match against Como. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the American is expected to pair upfront with Rafael Leao. After Thursday’s win, Allegri explained in the press conference why the former Chelsea player didn’t play a single minute: "Why didn’t Pulisic come on? He had just played two very demanding matches. Physicality was needed, so I preferred to play Ruben. Then Fullkrug came on anyway, had a good second half, and really wanted to be there.”
Will Luka Modric be rested?
Yesterday, Strahinja Pavlovic returned to group training with a noticeable bandage and should therefore be available against Lecce, although he will most likely start on the bench. Against the Apulian side, the same defense seen at Como is expected to be confirmed, composed of Tomori, Gabbia, and De Winter. Changes are expected in midfield, where Modric, who exerted a lot of energy at Sinigaglia, should get a rest. It is unlikely Allegri will leave out Rabiot, while the other central midfielder spot remains to be decided (Fofana played it at Como). Ricci, Loftus-Cheek, and Jashari are pushing for a starting spot.
