Giorgio Furlani, CEO of the AC Milan club, recalled Rocco Commisso upon his arrival at today’s Serie A League assembly, speaking to TMW: “A wonderful person, someone I was lucky to know, he will be missed. We need more people like him.”
Furlani on what does the late Fiorentina owner leave behind for Italian football?
"Well, I think of the huge investment in a fantastic facility like Viola Park. It’s a structure on par with those we don’t have in Italy, which puts us behind English football."
He added:
"The hope is that all Italian clubs can follow this example.”
