Quietly, Milan remain alert on the market in case an opportunity arises for a central defender. In recent hours, there has been talk of Coppola of Brighton, an Italian centre-back formerly of Verona. Matteo Moretto addressed the matter in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, saying:
“Coppola of Brighton has been linked with Milan, but it is not a name we have been hearing. Today, Coppola has attracted a lot of interest from Spain and Italy, including Fiorentina, but the Milan option does not appear to be a hot one.”
