It seems Fenerbahce might finally give up on Christopher Nkunku, after having eased their interest in recent weeks due to the performance the Frenchman has delivered and continues to deliver in the Rossoneri shirt. The Istanbul club could have attempted a last-minute move at the end of the transfer window, but Domenico Tedesco’s focus has reportedly shifted to another forward.
According to colleagues at TMW, to strengthen and complete their attack in this transfer window, Fenerbahce are considering a sensational return of Vedat Muriqi, who previously played 36 times for the yellow-and-blue, scoring 17 goals. Today, the Kosovar striker is the undisputed star of Mallorca, where he has so far made 137 appearances and scored 49 goals, following a disappointing stint in Italy with Lazio.
