Mike Maignan, the Rossoneri goalkeeper and captain, spoke to DAZN after the 1-1 draw between Roma and Milan. Here are his full comments, after being named Man of the Match.
“We came here for the three points, but we faced a tough and difficult team, which we knew, especially at their place. We scored in the second half and it’s a shame we didn’t kill the game and take all three points home.”
On the penalty, Maignan said:
“What is Bartesaghi supposed to do, cut off his arm? The ball is close to him and Çelik shoots it onto his hand. He could also have given a second penalty on Pulisic…”
