AC Milan’s pursuit of Jean-Philippe Mateta is intensifying. Since this morning, the Rossoneri have been working to bring forward the arrival of the French striker in the current winter transfer window, despite having already reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for a move next summer.
His potential arrival is separate from the situation involving Christopher Nkunku, a player Milan are monitoring closely and who is also attracting interest from Fenerbahçe, Roma, and Atlético Madrid.
According to Sky Sport 24 transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan and Crystal Palace are aiming to finalise the deal between tonight and tomorrow morning. It is no coincidence that Mateta’s agent is travelling to Milan to meet the club’s management in person and complete the transfer of the striker, born in 1997. This season, Mateta has made 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals, eight of them in the Premier League.
#Milan wants to close the deal for #Mateta immediately so that the striker will be available against Bologna
