Matteo Moretto, speaking in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, talked about Nkunku and Füllkrug as follows:
On Christopher Nkunku:
“Nkunku could have left during this winter transfer window, but in the end he stayed. The Frenchman was strongly pursued by Fenerbahçe and other Italian clubs also asked for information, but as we have always told you, Nkunku wanted to stay at Milan. He will play his cards, but it is clear that the way he has been treated has caused some strain in relations between the parties, especially with the striker’s entourage. Even though he was never officially put on the market, Nkunku was effectively made available. We will see what happens in the summer, Milan will be ready to listen to offers again and Nkunku will then decide which path to take, possibly even away from Milan.”
On AC Milan's Niclas Fullkrug:
"Füllkrug arrived quietly, but he was an attacker Milan badly needed. He joined on a free loan and Milan will only pay €1.3 million in wages. If he were to stay, his salary would be higher. The fee set for the permanent transfer is €5 million. Given his age and his physical condition, it remains to be seen whether Milan will redeem him. It will obviously depend on his performances on the pitch and on what the German can bring to the Rossoneri dressing room."
