Bournemouth has decided to make the signing of winger Alex Jimenez permanent, reports today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport. This news will surely please AC Milan, who will receive over ten million euros in their accounts.
In the summer, the Rossoneri had sold the former Real Madrid player to the Premier League, reaching an agreement with Bournemouth for a loan with an option to buy, which would become mandatory under certain conditions. These conditions have now been met, and the English club is ready to announce the permanent transfer shortly.
The total fee is 20 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses, with half of the fixed amount going to Real Madrid, who had retained 50% of any future resale when they sold him to Milan, as well as a buyback clause (which was not exercised). Milan will therefore receive around 10 million euros, which will be used during the summer to strengthen the squad.
