The winter transfer window has just closed, but discussions and evaluations with a view to future deals never stop. This second part of the season, in fact, will be decisive in determining the fate of several Milan players currently out on loan and tied to potential purchase options or obligations. This morning, Corriere dello Sport took stock of the situation and pointed out that if all the various buyout options were exercised, the Milan management could count on a small treasure to reinvest.
The headline in Corriere dello Sport reads:
"The Diavolo reaches 100. Loans and buyouts, a treasure worth 108 million."
The subheading goes into more detail, adding: "There is a whole group of players out on loan who could guarantee the Rossoneri a considerable cash return to reinvest in next summer’s transfer market: here is the strategy already mapped out by Milan."
The buyouts of Jimenez (around 12 million) and Morata (15 million) already seem almost certain; many other players, such as Colombo or Terracciano, will depend on how the seasons of the teams they are currently playing for on loan unfold.
