On his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti hosted Marco Guidi, a journalist for La Gazzetta dello Sport, who spoke about Christian Pulisic’s contract renewal situation:

I’ve been saying the same about Pulisic for well over a year now. It’s a situation that needs to be addressed. One thing must be said: until very recently, if we looked at his performances, as the player’s agent I would ask for the same as Leão and Maignan, while the initial basis of the agreement was slightly lower. So it’s hard to tell whether this standstill started because of the player or the club. There was a good initial agreement in place, they were talking about 5 million, and the player was fine with it, but if there’s no signature, it counts for nothing. Pulisic also has a different role compared to Maignan, so we also have to understand whether someone might suddenly sense this bit of a stalemate and try to take advantage of it."
