Regarding the issue of contract renewals at the Rossoneri club, today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport runs the following headline:
"Tomori signs first, the club calls Modric. Leão, Rossoneri future.”
The first player expected to extend his deal is Fikayo Tomori, whose current contract runs until 2027. Another defender negotiating a renewal is Davide Bartesaghi, who has now become the regular starter on Milan’s left flank. Also under discussion are the contracts of Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leão, both of whom have never hidden how happy they are in Milan.
A separate case is that of Luka Modrić, who signed a one-year contract with the Rossoneri last summer. The club on Via Aldo Rossi is already prepared to extend his stay for another season (there is an option for automatic renewal until 2027), but the final decision is entirely in the Croatian’s hands. The former Real Madrid player is very happy with his experience in red and black; however, before deciding whether to remain for another year, he wants to carefully assess his motivation and physical condition at the end of the season.
