On Wednesday evening at San Siro, Milan will take to the field again for the rescheduled Serie A Matchday 24 fixture against Como. The match had originally been set for February 8 but could not be played because the Milan stadium was being used for the opening ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
As for Max Allegri’s possible lineup choices, today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that, in all likelihood, only one of Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic will start in attack, as neither is currently at peak fitness for different reasons.
Competing for the other starting spot up front are Christopher Nkunku and Niclas Füllkrug, the latter eager to make amends after missing a penalty against Pisa. In the last two matches against Bologna and Pisa, Allegri started Ruben Loftus-Cheek in attack, but this time he is expected to move back into midfield to replace the suspended Adrien Rabiot.
