The former Torino player had an important impact when he came on Friday against Pisa, and he also had a hand in Luka Modric’s winning goal: despite the pressure from an opponent and a precarious balance, the Italian midfielder still managed to complete the one-two with the Croatian. Ricci has grown a lot in recent months and has become very valuable as the first substitute. On Wednesday, however, he will start against Como alongside Modric and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who, after two matches where he was deployed as a forward, will return to playing as a central midfielder due to Adrien Rabiot’s suspension.

"We all have to feel like starters. Sometimes you start, other times you come on for five or fifteen minutes. You always have to be ready. We don’t wear just any shirt; you always have to honor it and give more than what you can, more than 100%."
