Milan take to the pitch this afternoon against Parma at San Siro, with the chance to extend their lead over Juventus and Napoli, who both suffered defeats over the weekend. Before the match, Rossoneri assistant coach Marco Landucci spoke to Sky Sport 24 and previewed the clash. Here are his comments.
Why does Luka Modric still inspire such emotion?
“Besides being a great player, he is a person with humility and a strong desire to keep pushing himself. He deserves everything he has achieved and everything that will come in the future.”
Inter won, while Napoli and Juve did not. Are you looking up or down the table?
“We should not focus on anyone else, we need to follow our own path. Today is a tough match. We must show our usual attitude and in the end we will see where we stand.”
How is Rafael Leao?
“He is feeling better. If he plays, it means he is ready. In our view he can perform very well in that position and he has already scored eight goals. We trust him, just as we trust many other players. Substitutions are crucial to the final result.”
