According to Corriere dello Sport, coach Massimiliano Allegri expects a Cremonese team packed in defense, leaving very little space for the Rossoneri. The right approach might be to have a physical striker like Niclas Fullkrug up front. The German, thanks to his strength, could be very useful both for battling opposing defenders and for creating space for teammates to make runs.
In fact, the former West Ham player is eager to return to the starting lineup, something he has done only once since joining Milan in early January (against Fiorentina away). In other matches, Fullkrug has always come on as a substitute because Allegri has so far considered him more of a player to bring on in the final twenty minutes.
On Sunday in Cremona, however, his physical attributes could be valuable from the first minute. It remains to be seen who he might pair with between Leao and Pulisic (against Fiorentina, he played alongside the American).
