There is still a Champions League to be won, but Milan has already begun to think a bit about next season as well. Even more so with the return to top level European competition, at via Aldo Rossi they know very well that there is a problem to solve that has dragged on for far too long, namely signing a top center forward who can guarantee a significant number of goals. During the winter transfer window, the Rossoneri had tried to sign Jean Philippe Mateta, but everything collapsed after the routine medical examinations. All discussions are therefore postponed until the summer, when a major investment will be made in the main striker.

Guirassy on AC Milan's list:
This was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, which explains that the first name on the Devil’s list at the moment is Serhou Guirassy, a 1996 born striker for Borussia Dortmund who has often been linked with Milan in the past. The numbers of his career speak for themselves. Since the 2019 to 2020 season, the Guinean player has always reached double figures in goals scored. Last season, his total goals were as many as 38, including 13 in the Champions League, while this year he is already at 16 goals in all competitions. His price is very high, around 70 million euros, a figure the Devil would never spend on a thirty year old, but the Rossoneri would like to take advantage of his desire to try a new professional adventure after testing himself in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.
Alternatives:
Of course Guirassy is not the only target for Milan’s executives, who are also monitoring other profiles, including for example Mateo Retegui, the Italian national team center forward who moved last summer to Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia. Attention should also be paid to the name of Darwin Nunez, formerly of Liverpool, who is currently out of the Saudi Pro League list at Al Hilal under Simone Inzaghi. He would very much like to return to Europe and could therefore be an interesting idea for the future of Milan’s attack. Nicolas Jackson is also in the running, a Bayern Munich striker on loan from Chelsea.
