The AC Milan club managers are close to completing their first signing ahead of next season. The player is André, a midfielder born in 2005 who currently plays for Corinthians. Reports from Brazil provide several interesting details about the negotiations, starting with the offer submitted by the Rossoneri: €15 million plus €2 million in bonuses for 70 percent of the young Brazilian’s registration rights. His representatives have already given up the remaining 30 percent to help facilitate his move to Italy.

According to ESPN and Globo Esporte in Brazil, Milan have proposed €15 million as a fixed fee plus an additional €2 million in bonuses. These bonuses would only be paid if André plays at least 20 more matches of at least 45 minutes each for Corinthians. The offer also includes a 20 percent sell on clause in favor of the Brazilian club for any future transfer. Meanwhile, a five year contract is ready for the young midfielder.
What still stands in the way of a deal?
Most of Corinthians’ management are satisfied with Milan’s proposal, but final approval from president Osmar Stabile is still required. A decision is expected within the next few hours.
