Regarding AC Milan’s transfer dealings, today’s print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport runs the headline:
"André is a mystery: the Rossoneri to turn to FIFA?"
The deal for the young midfielder André, born in 2006, had seemed virtually completed. However, in recent hours there has been a sudden reversal from the president, Osmar Stabile, who is now reportedly refusing to sign off on the player’s transfer, as relayed via Milan News.
The Rossoneri, though, are standing firm, as they already hold documents signed by the legal department of the São Paulo based club confirming the agreed terms: €15 million plus €2 million in bonuses and a 20 percent sell on clause in favor of the Brazilian club. According to the executives at Casa Milan, this documentation is sufficient to validate the transfer, and they could therefore take the matter to FIFA to assert their rights.
