During the next summer transfer window, Milan will certainly have to expand the squad, but they will also need to sign a top center-forward given the many problems that appeared in that position this year. Massimiliano Allegri has clear ideas about the player he wants available: as reported this morning by Corriere della Sera, the Italian coach wants a striker who is already fully prepared and accustomed to the huge responsibilities that come with playing at San Siro, ideally someone who already knows Serie A.

Before last Sunday’s match against Cremonese, Allegri said in the press conference:

"With the club there is complete harmony. Naturally, during discussions there can be different points of view. What matters is that everyone works for the good of Milan. I am very happy to have returned to Milan after 15 years and to have started working with a group of wonderful young players. The club is planning and building the future of Milan. To do that, we must achieve the most important results. In March we are doing fairly well for now. Now we must see whether we are good enough to stay there or to take the final step. There is harmony between me and the club."
