After the Milan-Inter match, a derby won by the Rossoneri thanks to Pervis Estupiñán's goal, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to Milan TV to comment on his team’s victory.
Winning the first of the five games needed for the Champions League:
"Good, because we had forgotten that in the last two home games we had only taken one point. The boys played a great match."
The crowd lifted the team at the right moments:
"Just like at the start of the season, the fans help us because we all need to reach the goal together."
The reason behind choosing Estupiñán tonight, Allegri said:
"The fact that he is an excellent player and a true professional. This is a reward for him that he has fully earned."
Do you remember who the young coach was who won both legs of the derby 15 years ago?
"Unfortunately, that was me, and I even had hair back then (laughs)."
What do you see beyond 60 points?
"It was important to reach March. The boys did well to do it in the best conditions. Now the next step is reaching 70 points."
