Luka Modrić was once again a key figure yesterday in the derby against Inter, delivering another magnificent performance. Today’s edition of 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' praised the Croatian star with the headline:
"Modrić is endless."
In front of his friend Sergio Ramos, who was also present last night at San Siro, the Rossoneri midfielder once again led the team by example. After the match, Modrić spoke to DAZN about his future as well:
"There are always rumors around the team, but I’m not interested in them. I’m very happy here. It was great to see Sergio Ramos at the stadium. When the captain comes here, we have to win," he said with a laugh. "In any case, I’m not thinking about anything else. I’m only focused on working."
It is worth remembering that the contract the Croatian signed last summer will expire on June 30. The player, who will turn 41 in September, has an option to extend for another season, but he will make a decision only at the end of the championship.
