André, midfielder for Corinthians, spoke for the first time about his potential move to Milan. Here are his words as reported by Globoesporte:
"I am very calm. My focus is 100% here at Corinthians. If I went to Milan, I would be living a dream, but even here I am living a dream. Playing for Corinthians is a dream I have always had since I was a child, even more so now as a professional."
At this point, it is only a matter of money. Corinthians wants more, considering the Rossoneri offer, for which it had initially given the green light, insufficient. It is no coincidence that the team’s star, Depay, commented on social media about the rumors regarding André joining the Rossoneri: "André is one of the greatest talents I have seen in my career. Many clubs will come for our young star. I hope, therefore, that we will not push him away quickly for easy money. Honestly, he is a player with very high value."
AC Milan, for now, does not intend to change its position; no counteroffer is planned for André. They rely on the agreement already reached and signed: 15 million plus 2 in bonuses plus 20% on a future resale.
