He was supposed to be one of the stars of the Rossoneri Under-23 team, but he has made only 15 appearances for them. His last one dates back to March 2, 2025, when he came on in the second half of Legnago-Milan Futuro, a Serie C match that ended 2-1 for the home side. Silvano Vos’s trajectory at Milan has been very strange: from a blazing debut against Carpi, when the Emilia-Romagna club’s coach, Cristian Serpini, described him as being "on a completely different level", to total obscurity.

And to think that in the summer of 2024 Milan believed they had pulled off a great deal, spending about €3 million plus bonuses to bring him from Ajax after a long negotiation, beating competition from several French and German clubs.
Last September, Vos seemed just a step away from leaving Milan. After lengthy talks with the Swiss club Lausanne, however, the parties failed to reach a full agreement on the deal. The main issues were the loan fee and how the salary would be split. Vos has a significant contract, and Milan and Lausanne could not find common ground on those two points. It was a major shock for a player who had one last opportunity to relaunch his career in a professional league, especially since he was not part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans.
The injury and return to the Netherlands
The 20-year-old Dutchman remained in Milan and was practically never seen again. That is far from ideal for his development, quite the opposite. For months, Rossoneri fans kept asking the same question: what happened to Silvano Vos? Since September he has made zero appearances for Milan Futuro. According to our information, the former Ajax player had a troubled summer and dealt with a couple of physical issues that disrupted his preparation, as pointed out via Calcio Mercato. The player and his representatives reached an agreement with the Milan management for him to continue his treatment in the Netherlands, more precisely in Amsterdam, where he stayed for several months.
Reconditioning phase at Milanello:
After staying in constant contact with the Milan Futuro medical staff, Vos returned to Milanello at the beginning of the year, where he is now working to regain his best condition after several months on the sidelines in the Netherlands. Within the club there is certainly strong disappointment with the 2005-born player, who has fallen well short of expectations, not only technically but, above all, in terms of attitude and work ethic. Now it is up to Silvano to make the most of his chances: if he proves he has the right mindset, the doors of Milan Futuro, and perhaps even the First Team, could open for him.
