In recent weeks, there have been plenty of rumors and speculation about a possible departure of Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season. However, the reality appears to be different: regardless of how the title race ends, Milan plan to move forward with the ex Juventus coach. This was reported this morning by Corriere della Sera, which added that Allegri will be more involved in the club’s transfer strategies, as he had requested. In other words, situations like the one in January should no longer happen, when the coach asked for a defender while the club tried to sign a forward.

Milan must strengthen its squad:
With a return to the Champions League looking increasingly likely, Milan will have many more matches to play. As a result, one of the two main priorities will be increasing the number of players available to Allegri. The other will obviously be strengthening the Rossoneri squad with players who bring quality and experience, because next season the primary objective will be the league title, rather than a “simple” Champions League qualification like this year.
One signing Milan absolutely cannot afford to get wrong is the new center-forward. In recent days, Moise Kean of Fiorentina has frequently been linked with the Italian club, but his €62 million release clause is considered too expensive for Milan. Zlatan Ibrahimović told CBS that Allegri likes players with strong character, and for this reason a striker who has long been on the radar of sporting director Igli Tare is Robert Lewandowski, whose contract with Barcelona is nearing its end. The Polish striker will be 38, but he still scores consistently, and that is exactly the type of player the Rossoneri need.
