Matteo Moretto, speaking in a video published on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, gave this update on Milan’s interest in Mario Gila, Lazio’s central defender:
"Gila has been a name linked to Milan since January, but he is not an easily attainable profile because there is strong competition for the Spanish defender. On top of that, the current relations between Milan and Lazio are not optimal. However, I can confirm that Gila is a name being followed by the Rossoneri. There is no negotiation yet; a process needs to take place before discussing something concrete, but he is certainly on Milan’s list."
"He is one of the names on the list; I wouldn’t go further because at the moment there is nothing more. He is a player who is liked, and his contract runs until 2027. Gila is not only liked by Milan, but also by other Italian clubs, and there is also attention on his possible return to Spain. He is a name to keep in consideration for Milan’s summer market."
