Starting today, Museo Mondo Milan welcomes a special piece of memorabilia:
Luka Modrić's Ballon d'Or. This gesture from the Rossoneri star is for the fans, as the trophy will be placed in a display case adorned with quotes and images that recount his extraordinary career. It symbolizes the close bond between Luka and the Club, a connection that began long before his arrival in Italy last summer; our number 14 has cherished the Rossoneri since childhood.
Modrić has chosen to make the top individual award in football available to all AC Milan fans. He won the Ballon d'Or in 2018. He was the first Croatian player ever to receive the honour, following a remarkable year that included a third consecutive UEFA Champions League title with Real Madrid and a historic run to the FIFA World Cup Final with Croatia.
"From the very first day I wore this jersey, I felt something truly special: for me, being a player for this Club means fulfilling a dream," said Luka Modrić. "Sharing my Ballon d'Or with our fans, who have shown me incredible support in every match over the past months, is my way of giving something back. Forza Milan!"
The trophy further enriches the collection of Museo Mondo Milan - the most visited football museum in Italy - within a setting that uniquely showcases how individual achievements and the journeys of Rossoneri players contribute to a broader collective legacy made of champions, victories, and sporting culture.
Fans can admire Luka Modrić's Ballon d'Or daily from 10:00 to 19:00 (last entry is at 18:00). The trophy is at the Rossoneri museum inside Casa Milan; the Club's modern headquarters, open to visitors and sports enthusiasts.
