The big news on the eve of Milan vs Torino, the match that will be played tomorrow afternoon at San Siro at 6:00 PM for the 30th round of the Serie A Enilive championship, is the absence of Rafael Leão from the squad list.
According to reports that emerged in the afternoon, relayed by journalist Peppe Di Stefano, the Portuguese player did not take part in the final training session held after lunch. The reason? As communicated by the club, the player has suffered a recurrence of an adductor problem, ironically, the same issue he first picked up during the first half of the reverse fixture against Torino. The number 10, after a week full of controversy, will not be available for the match.
In his place, Massimiliano Allegri is leaning toward starting Niclas Füllkrug alongside Christian Pulisic: a move made possible also by Santiago Giménez’s return to the bench after four months. Allegri, who has confirmed the Mexican’s inclusion in the squad, will have an option to use at center-forward during the match.
Adrien Rabiot is also expected to return to the starting lineup alongside Modrić and Fofana in midfield, while Davide Bartesaghi will start again on the left, sending Estupiñán back to the bench. On the opposite flank, Saelemaekers is set to keep his place. In defense, there is little room for change: in front of Maignan, Tomori, De Winter, and Pavlović are expected to start.
AC Milan's probable lineup:
Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Pulisic, Fullkrug.
