A month worthy of applause earns a well-deserved recognition. The MVP for March is Strahinja Pavlovic, the undeniable standout performer in recent weeks. The Serbian defender took the limelight with a number of outstanding performances and decisive moments. His goals against Cremonese and Torino, along with his contribution to the clean sheet in the derby, prove his mark on all three victories of the past month.
Pavlovic was nominated for the award because he was one of the best players during our matches in March: he earned the award against Cremonese and Torino - thanks to two very important and great goals - while he was beaten to it by Pervis Estupiñan and Luka Modrić in the derby. A fully deserved recognition for the Rossoneri's number 31.
In the month just gone, Strahinja maintained very-high level performances in defence, showing that he's found his feet in a season filled with high-quality performances: possibly the best since he came to the club.
The two decisive, brilliant and important goals against Cremonese and Torino were the cherry on top.
In both cases, it was a goal that broke the deadlock: in Cremona to break the deadlock in an extremely difficult match, and against the Granata a moment of brilliance worthy of a page in the history books. A mention also goes to the other three players who stood out in recent weeks, earning a nomination: in addition to the already mentioned Pervis Estupiñán, also Koni De Winter and Youssouf Fofana.
