AC Milan’s attack is continuing to struggle in front of goal, and the statistics for the forwards are becoming increasingly poor. This is reported by Corriere dello Sport, which notes that in the second half of the season only three of the five forwards in the squad have scored, among them Leão and Nkunku with two goals each, and Füllkrug with just one.
Christian Pulisic has not scored for over one hundred days, his last goal coming on 28 December; Santiago Giménez, due to injury and ankle surgery, has not found the net in Serie A for 333 days. Nkunku last scored 63 days ago against Bologna, while the German last scored 79 days ago against Lecce. The only player with more recent statistics is Rafael Leão, who scored against Cremonese 37 days ago.
