AC Milan came away defeated from their away match against Napoli at the “Maradona”, a game which (also due to the Neapolitan side overtaking them into second place in the league table) has left more than a few lingering tensions within the Rossoneri camp, who have now suffered their third defeat in the last six matches. Many have targeted Massimiliano Allegri who, as the manager, certainly has his share of responsibility. But one must not exaggerate, at least according to Fabrizio Biasin, who defends the Rossoneri coach in his editorial published on Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Biasin’s view on Milan: "Milan lose in Naples and the usual chorus about Allegri starts again, that ‘he’s not good enough’, that ‘the team plays terribly’, and ‘Allegri out’. The usual stuff, all frankly tiresome. Milan will work to play better, as they should, but their prospects for improvement depend more on sensible transfer dealings than on the manager’s choices. A team that over the past year has invested millions and millions in attack on Gimenez, Füllkrug, Nkunku and has got virtually nothing from them is a team that perhaps could have played better but has, without doubt, taken home the maximum possible points."
