Today’s edition of Tuttosport ran the following headline regarding AC Milan's future and the attacking department:
“Kostic-Camarda, the future looks bright.”
While the current Milan side is struggling to find prolific strikers, the club can look to the future with confidence thanks to two of the most promising young talents on the scene today: Francesco Camarda, born in 2008, and Andrej Kostic, born in 2007.
Camarda is spending this season on loan at Lecce. The young forward experienced a first half of the campaign focused on development and growth, but then suffered a serious shoulder injury that abruptly brought his season to an end.
Kostic will officially become a new Rossoneri player from next 1 July. Signed a few weeks ago from Partizan Belgrade for €3.5 million, plus €4.5 million in bonuses and 10% of any future resale fee, the Montenegrin striker will finish the season in Serbia. He is then expected at Milanello this summer, where both he and Camarda will be assessed during pre-season training by Max Allegri.
After that, the club, naturally in agreement with the ex Juventus coach, will decide their futures. Another loan spell could be on the cards for the Italian youngster, while Kostic may either gain experience with Milan Futuro as a pathway towards the senior side or also head out on loan.
