Diego Moreira spoke to DAZN after Genoa 1-2 Milan. Here are his statements:
Was Ramos' pass intended for you?
"I think Gonçalo had passed the ball to me, but Pulisic scored, so I'm equally happy anyway (smiles)."
A good response after Ferencváros:
"We train to improve this aspect. It's not that we can play well, then badly, and then well again. We have to find consistency. It takes time, but we will find it. Today, Milan showed character and we demonstrated that we play like Milan."
What does the coach ask of you? Moreira replied:
"He asks me to defend a lot because he knows I can do it and that I can improve. I know I have to improve, but it is part of my journey."
Your idol Cristiano Ronaldo has retired from the Portugal national team…
"I think he has done everything he could for Portugal. It is his decision and we have to respect it. I think the entire football world should be happy for him, and I wish him all the best for the rest of his career."
