The transfer of Fodé Ballo-Touré to Ligue 1 outfit Saint-Etienne has fallen through, reports well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Senegalese left-back, formerly of Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, who is out of the squad at Milan, has been unable to reach an agreement with another club, this time due to his salary demands being considered too high by the French side.
Ballo-Touré is 27 years old with a valid contract with the AC Milan club until June 2025. In fact, last season, while on loan with Fulham, he only made 8 appearances between the Premier League and the EFL Cup. He played a total of just 224 minutes.
