Zvonimir Boban, former legendary player and also ex director, during Milan coach Paulo Fonseca's interview, asked question to the Portuguese about the use of the midfield.

Here's what the Croatian said:
"Reijnders is not an attacking midfielder, he's not a 6, he's clearly an 8. Loftus-Cheek is not a 4, not a 6, not a 10: he's an 8. Couldn't you think about playing a 4-3-3 with them? That way, they would be closer to the wingers, who are more offensive than the usual midfielders we used to call wingers?"
Fonseca's response to Boban's question was the following:
"I respect all opinions. But I think we can work with different structures. I'm looking for the best characteristics for our midfielders. I don't think Reijnders is a player to play close to Fofana, and I like the structure with two midfielders. That's how we created the most dangerous situations."
