Carlo Pellegatti expressed his words regarding Liverpool's victory against AC Milan at the San Siro.
Here's what he said, in his editorial to Milan News:
"How long, how long do we have to suffer in terms of organisation and play? The entire wonderful, patient, admirable Milan crowd is whistling in indignation, tired, depressed, anguished, furious. Someone shouts: 'Shame!' But where have we ended up?? I never would have thought that in such a short time we could ruin all the beautiful things we built in recent seasons. What a pity!! Who deserves to be saved? NO ONE!"
Pellegatti added:
"Really, what a disappointment, my Milan. I will always be there in the sun, in the wind, in smiles and in tears, but please, go back to playing football or find someone who can make you play football. Please… no more passing the ball a thousand times to the goalkeeper, no more watching a play that starts at zero speed and ends at zero speed. That’s unacceptable!"
Apologies for this jumble of thoughts! I’m very sad, and not because of the loss, but because the entire football-loving world is crying, no longer recognizing the style, class, and elegance of our Milan. But I want to end with the supreme cry, the cry that has accompanied us and will continue to accompany us. Even tonight, loud and clear: "FORZA MILAN!!" Always and forever! Owners, managers, coaches, and players will come and go, but we will always be here shouting: 'FORZA VECCHIO CUORE ROSSONERO.' But please... do something!!"
