As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, Paulo Fonseca wants to try again: the Portuguese coach's last Champions League success came in Germany while leading Shakhtar. It was 2018, and the Ukrainians won against the Bundesliga side Hoffenheim at the time.
Now the coach will attempt a repeat against Bayer.
Regarding the upcoming European clash, AC Milan will be able to rely on the services of Davide Calabria who has reportedly returned to training and shall be available to for the squad selection.
