Antonio Conte, the Napoli head coach, is doing good work right now in Serie A. His side is currently first with 13 points afte six matches, followed by Juventus at 12 points while Milan, Inter, and Torino are trailing behind with 11 points.
The former Juventus, Inter and Chelsea boss is definitely hoping that he can continue to rack up positive results throughout the season with his players.
Before joining Napoli, however, when he was a available in the market, there were reports about Conte being one of the several candidates who would take the Milan job, which eventually was entrusted to Paulo Fonseca. For the fans, however, it was clear: he was their favourite, at least for the majority of them.
In fact, and at a pre-match press conference two days before the match against Monza this Friday, he was asked about the Ultras arrests and said the following:
"I read about the arrests; I don't know the situation well, so it's hard to comment. Did Milan ultras want me? I can't do anything about that. If the fans appreciate me, I can only be happy about it. It means my work is recognized on all fronts, even though I've coached rival teams like Inter and Juventus."
