In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Italian journalist Fabio Caressa talked about Milan's defeat against Bayer Leverkusen and emphasised Morata's increasingly important role within the Rossoneri team.
"Milan did not deserve to lose in Germany, but it's important not to overdo the praise. People mostly remember the last half hour, when the Rossoneri definitely deserved to equalize, but for a large part of the game, at least an hour, Leverkusen dominated, and Milan defended fiercely."
On Milan relying on Alvaro Morata, he said:
"In my opinion, right now the team relies heavily on Morata, who is the true leader both emotionally and on the field. Not only does he stand out for his offensive presence, but he's also crucial in supporting the team during difficult moments. He brings only positive energy to the group, and his role is becoming increasingly important."
He added:
"I didn't quite understand the decision to substitute Abraham, especially at the end, when several crosses came in, and he could have capitalized on one of them."
