As if the disappointment of the defeat against Fiorentina in the final match of the seventh round of Serie A wasn't enough, Milan now has to deal with the disciplinary consequences left by the game at the Franchi.
Immediately after the final whistle of the match, which ended with Fiorentina’s 2-1 victory over Milan in a thrilling game full of twists and turns, the referee sent off Theo Hernandez.

It was a night to forget for the Milan left-back. The Frenchman caused a penalty for Fiorentina (which was saved by Maignan) then missed a penalty which he should not have taken, and then was sent off for a confrontation with the referee.
This is a significant problem for Milan, which will certainly have to do without the Frenchman in the match against Udinese scheduled for the resumption of the league after the break.

Who will play in place of Theo Hernandez for Milan
Milan’s squad doesn’t have a true replacement for Theo Hernandez. In the two occasions when the Frenchman didn’t start in this league, against Torino and Lazio, Fonseca fielded Saelemaekers (who has since been transferred to Roma) against Torino and Terracciano at the Olimpico.
The former Verona player Terracciano seems to be the main candidate to replace Theo Hernandez in the match against Udinese scheduled for Saturday, October 19, when the league resumes. It is not ruled out, however, that Fonseca could opt for Alex Jimenez, a young player doing very well with 'Milan Futuro'. Another solution could be moving Calabria to the left while Emerson Royal stays on the right.
