Last summer, the AC Milan managers, with advisor and consultant Zlatan Ibrahimovic, worked hard both on incoming and outgoing transfers, with some profiles planned for the winter session where new changes are expected, as per Calciomercato.com.

  • First change - Is Calabria's with Milan future in doubt?

The feeling is that Milan, in contrast to previous seasons, will be active during a session where margins for error are slim. The main focus will be on Calabria, who has not yet renewed his contract expiring in July 2025.

The captain is realising that the wind has changed with the arrival of Emerson Royal, and the club has not sent encouraging signals regarding his renewal.

Galatasaray is interested in him again, as have other Spanish clubs, and Davide is reflecting on leaving his beloved team as early as the January market.

  • Luka Jovic could be shown the exit door as well...

The Serbian striker is not exactly the ideal striker for the style of play Fonseca wants to build. Milan will try to sell him in the January market and is counting on the work of his agent, Fali Ramadani, who has excellent contacts in the Saudi Pro League and Eastern European leagues.

  • Two outcasts could also be finally out in January

Many are wondering what has become of Fode Ballo-Touré and Divock Origi. In the summer, they realized that no teams were willing to cover the hefty salaries they receive from Milan. Both are therefore at a crossroads: either they reduce their demands or they will lose a year of their careers. The Rossoneri club is willing to grant them a free transfer, according to the source.

After the break, head coach Paulo Fonseca could try to give a chance to the Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, who needs to significantly improve. Otherwise, he would end up listed in the transfer list, he has interest in the Saudi Arabia.

The situation is different for Ruben Loftus-Cheek: the ex Chelsea player knows he must do more; his performances in the past few months have not lived up to the fans' expectations. But, he still has the trust of the club and coach.
