AC Milan have always focused on catering for the needs of their young starlets, especially in the recent years with Elliott Management and then RedBird. The investment in Milan Futuro and AC Milan’s youth academy are a great proof of that.

Let's take a deep dive into the club's academy.

The Legacy of AC Milan’s Youth Academy

Since its inception, AC Milan's youth academy has been known for producing important talents. This department has been working for 50 years with a clear focus on nurturing players who not only excel in football but also possess the mindset of a true athlete who can succeed in the future. The club invests significant resources in scouting, training, and educating young players in order to have the right tools and means to thrive.

The academy boasts a rich history, with over 150 players making appearances in the men's first team in the last three decades. Some of these players have gone on to play for other top European clubs, though.

The Youth Development Structure

The Primavera team enjoys advanced training equipment and state-of-the-art facilities thanks to Puma House of Football.

The training sessions always focus on a variety of exercises from technical skills to tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and also mental strength.

It should also be noted that the club partners with academies from distinct parts of the world, including the U.S, and MENA region.

Star Graduates from AC Milan’s Youth Academy

Franco Baresi, one of the greatest defenders in football history, is a product of AC Milan's youth academy. The current club's honorary vice-president played his entire career for the club, amassing 719 official matches between 1977 and 1997. He has leadership and technical qualities.

The most iconic name to emerge from AC Milan’s youth system is Paolo Maldini. He debuted for the senior team at 16 years old and had a great 25-year career there. He is one of the few players to have won five UEFA Champions League titles.

AC Milan's's Future Stars:

The academy is home to several rising stars, including the likes of Maximilian Ibrahimovic and Francesco Camarda, who already catch the fans enthusiasm.

Following in the footsteps of Gianluigi Donnarumma, the red and black youth academy is also nurturing important goalkeepers. For example, Noah Raveyre has been a part of the Primavera and Milan Futuro as well. We should also not forget about Lorenzo Torriani who already made an official appearance for Fonseca's team in the Champions League during the match against Liverpool.

AC Milan’s Partnership with Sponsors

Strategic partnerships play an essential role in the funding and development of the Rossoneri's youth academy. Collaborations like the BetMGM Bonus Code initiative offer a unique blend of financial support and global visibility which enhances the academy's ability to attract and nurture the next generation of football stars.

AC Milan’s youth academy has long been a cornerstone of the club’s success, producing some of the best football talent in the world. Through its commitment to development, state-of-the-art facilities, and global scouting network, the club shows that it is keen on launching the next generation of football gems.
