AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni spoke to Sky just at the San Siro about the stadium issue.
This morning, there was an important meeting with [Mayor] Sala, Inter, and the Minister of Cultural Heritage.
"It was a very successful meeting. We had the Mayor of Milan, the Minister of Culture, and the Minister of Sport present. It was a high-level meeting where we overcame the issue that had been holding us back for months regarding the preservation of the second tier of San Siro. We can build a new stadium in the San Siro area, while preserving the second tier in the building that will replace the current stadium. It was a very positive meeting that brought us closer to considering the construction of a new stadium in San Siro as a viable option."
What is the timeline? Scaroni replied:
"We still have steps to take, such as determining the price at which the Municipality of Milan will sell us San Siro stadium and the surrounding area. We don't know that yet, which is why we are still keeping our San Donato option open, where we have worked for a long time and also spent 40 million."
