AC Milan head coach, Paulo Fonseca, in the interview with the Rossoneri club's official channel, spoke about the team's attitude and the match against Napoli, which ended in a defeat at the San Siro.
Here's what he had to say:
"What’s important is to look at how the team is playing. Not just the quality of play, but also how they work together. I feel the squad is working as a team. With the ball, without the ball... We’re progressing in many things. We don’t lose the ball as easily as before; the team understands the moment in the game. It’s true that we need to improve defensively."
Fonseca added:
"It’s not that we’re conceding a lot, but we gave Napoli, who don’t make mistakes, one opportunity… I think that even defensively, the team is growing, staying tight and compact. This is important to me. Obviously, the most important thing for all of us is the results, but this kind of performance builds confidence for the future."
