Ahead of tomorrow's match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League match, AC Milan's 29-year-old French star Mike Maignan took the time to speak to the journalists in a press conference. He offered these thoughts:
"My renewal? It is not the most important thing right now; we are and I am focused on tomorrow's match against Real Madrid. We need to be clear-headed and composed during the game; I am focused on my work to achieve a positive result."

On the relationship with Kylian Mbappé in France, Maignan said:
"Tomorrow we will play against Kylian; we always talk. He is a quality player, even though he is going through a difficult phase right now. I have no doubt that he will do well."
How exciting is it to play against opponents like Vinícius Júnior or Jude Bellingham?
"Football is always adrenaline for me; it always gives me enthusiasm to play against anyone, so for me the best thing is to win together with my teammates."
Do you feel like one of the strongest goalkeepers in the world? Maignan said:
"If I don't think I'm the best, no one else will for me. I am among the top five players as a goalkeeper, but I still need to improve. My priority, however, is the match tomorrow."
What kind of courage does Milan need to have tomorrow?
"Every match has its own story; there is a big difference between the derby and tomorrow's match. Tomorrow we will need to have courage, to attack and defend, the courage to play our football. We are not afraid."
