As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today’s print edition, Tijjani Reijnders is proving to be without limits.
The Dutchman is becoming increasingly complete, thanks to the work of Paulo Fonseca. He runs forward in support of his teammates in attack, he recovers balls in defence, and initiates counterattacks.
The former AZ Alkmaar is also decisive as a goalscorer. In Serie A, he has already scored three goals, matching his entire tally from last season.
Reijnders is among the best in the world in his position
As of today, he’s on par with Europe’s strongest midfielders. He has scored as many goals as Pedri and Bellingham combined. Bought for 20 million euros, he’s now worth three times as much. And soon, likely at the start of 2025, a renewal until 2030 will arrive, with his salary tripling from the current 1.7 million euros.
Tijjani Reijnders is a loyal player for Fonseca and ranks third among the most utilized players, behind Maignan and Fofana.
