According to a report by La Stampa, Gerry Cardinale is reportedly considering Fabio Paratici for the role of sporting director at AC Milan. Currently, no one has taken the position left vacant by Antonio D’Ottavio, who stepped down a few days ago.

It has been officially announced that the vendor loan from Elliott to RedBird has been refinanced until July 2028, extending an agreement that was set to expire next summer. This ensures that Milan will remain under the control of Cardinale and RedBird.
This has fueled speculation about Paratici, who is reportedly among the candidates for the role of sporting director ahead of next season. It is worth noting that on January 20, 2023, as part of a sports trial involving Juventus, the Federal Court of Appeal of the FIGC banned Paratici from holding positions within the federation for 30 months. This suspension is set to expire next summer, which would allow Paratici to operate without restrictions in his new role, as relayed via PianetaMilan.it.
