This evening, the Globe Soccer Awards Dubai ceremony took place on December 27, 2024. Our correspondent was present to cover the prestigious event.
Many faces were present, such as Thibaut Courtois and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese player was awarded the Globe Soccer Award for Best Middle East Player. He also won the Globe Soccer Award for Top Goal Scorer of all time.
Thibaut Courtois and Rio Ferdinand, on the other hand, wons the Globe Soccer player career awards.
Juventus and Italy legend, Alessandro Del Piero, won the Special Career Award.
Who else was awarded at the Globe Soccer Awards event?
Former AC Milan head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, earned himself the award for best coach. But, he was not present to collect the trophy. As for his team, Real Madrid, they did receive the honours of the Globe Soccer Award for Best Men's Club.
Well-known Portuguese agent, Jorge Mendes, was also present as he was awarded with the Best Agent Award.
Brazilian super star, Neymar, was honoured with the Globe Soccer player career award while Jude Bellingham collected two trophies: Best Midfielder and Maradona awards. Vinicius Junior won the best forward award. As for FC Barcelona gem, Lamine Yamal, he won the award for best emerging player.
