During today's episode of L’Editoriale on TMW Radio, Luca Marchetti spoke.
Here are his words:
What do you think of this new Milan?
“There was an emotional reaction to Fonseca's dismissal that I believe even Milan didn't expect to be so effective. When a coach is dismissed, it’s also to change the morale in the locker room. Conceição's enthusiasm and determination have resonated very well. This victory will also help the Portuguese coach in his work. We saw a different Milan in terms of character. The performances may not have been beautiful, but they brought two comeback wins against two top teams in our league. Despite Inter contributing to their own downfall, Milan managed to overcome a truly difficult period.”

Sérgio Conceição immediately connected with the locker room, unlike Fonseca.
“A coaching change always signifies a failure to some extent. Milan had planned a three-year project with Fonseca. In my view, he didn’t receive the proper support. We don’t know if Conceição received it, but the former Porto coach certainly managed to quickly establish chemistry with the locker room, which is a matter of chemistry, something unpredictable. It’s also worth noting that success breeds more success, and the win against Juventus was helpful. Results make a difference. With Fonseca, given how strained relations with the locker room had become, this reaction likely wouldn’t have happened.”
